When I was leading Staffing as a Mission, I had a wonderful Director of Administration that worked with me. named Nathan Buttrey, and we were always trying to figure out ways to celebrate different accomplishments. And, work anniversaries, things like that. And sometimes I would say, you know, Nathan does this sound like it's super cheesy that we're doing this, like a chocolate chip cookie cake or metallic big, giant balloons. And he would say, “Jonathan, no —Ceremony Creates Culture.” And I think that was a revelation for me. If you have the things that you reiterate in your company culture. That is the culture, right? The things. the behaviors that you reiterate, whether they're spoken or unspoken. Those are the things that drive culture within your company. So what are the ceremonies in your culture? And what changes do you need to make?
